API Specification 5CT
API SPEC 5CT is a standard for oil casing promulgated by the American Petroleum Institute. It is mainly used in oil pipelines, tubing and casing around the world. API SPEC 5CT specifies the technical delivery conditions for steel pipes (casings, pipes, plain ends and short sections) and fittings.
Casings can be divided into different steel grades according to the strength of the steel itself, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150, etc.
