Os tubos de aço API 5CT L80 são fornecidos com conexões roscadas e acopladas, disponíveis em extremidade lisa, rosca redonda sem ou com acoplamento, rosca de contraforte com ou sem acoplamento, etc.5.21-50816,13 mm, incluindo tipos de rosca como BTC, LTC, STC, etc. A composição química exige que o teor de enxofre e fósforo seja inferior a 0,030% cada e deve passar no teste de achatamento, teste de tração e teste hidrostático. Defeitos como dobras e rachaduras são proibidos nas superfícies internas e externas da caixa. As extremidades roscadas são equipadas com protetores e o tratamento de superfície adota o processo de pintura em spray.
